First Ever Rendered Scene by Blood-PawWerewolf First Ever Rendered Scene by Blood-PawWerewolf
i originally made this to test my Alienware Laptop's GPU power. it took a long time and a lot of cooling down time, i ended up with is.

mind my flaws of this render because it's my first.

good work! I can see some areas for improvement, but if this is your first, it's far above the bar!

thanks! it was a long render that was pushing my computer to the limit. (and many computer lockups and DAZ crashes)

i'm glad that it was worth it.

I remember when I used to think 10,000 PX square was a good thing... Hit render and go have dinner, go to sleep and wake up to see if it's finished yet XD

If you ever want a little help upgrading your rig, let me know! I've upgraded my PC to render really well (even if derpy zed's graphics card is too new to handle Iray XD)

i'm currently using a high-end gaming laptop. so it can't be upgraded. but it does allow for a graphics amplifier to be hooked up. (2 hours is a decent time to render on this pc. i had an older laptop that has a NVIDIA card in it that wouldn't even render in iray for at least a few seconds before locking up)

oof... I tend to kill laptops by proxy :S I used my poor old potato laptop in college and by the end of it, there were elastic bands holding it together (and a coin under the screen... long story)
Fair enough dude. if you head towards a desktop at any point, drop me a line and I might be able to help :)

i do have a desktop, but it's a potato as well. it recovered from a nasty virus in like 2009-ish and recently we opened the tower up and cleaned up a ton of dust from it. serious fire hazard because the fans were clogged and it was running louder than a jet engine. (i haven't used it since that virus. now i use it for Windows 10 Insider Builds.) i might get a new desktop around (or after) this summer. i just don't have the money right now to afford one.

the money is always the biggest issue... potatoes are nicely cheap (or the end-result of some sad event) but just can't handle DAZ renders...
Sorry to hear about the virus. They suck hard...

If you ever want to chat tech specs, let me know :)
